Ruck Excavating was founded by Torrance and Melinda Ruck. Torrance brings more than two decades of heavy equipment experience across land clearing, quarry and crushing operations, civil site work, drainage and sports field construction, and industrial rail infrastructure. The company was built on a straightforward idea: clients deserve to deal with people who actually know the work, not salesmen and middlemen who have never set foot on a job site.
That experience spans residential and rural lot clearing, large-scale quarry and aggregate operations, foundation excavation, industrial yard work, and heavy civil projects across Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. Whatever the ground condition, whatever the scope, Ruck Excavating has dealt with it before.

Torrance Ruck started in heavy equipment in his early 20s and has not stepped out of the industry since. His background includes rock quarry operations with Lafarge, barge loading on the Fraser River, industrial site work, and specialized railway and pipeline corridor projects. That experience does not sit in a file somewhere. It comes to every site and every quote.
